The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, September 6 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will put Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) on blast.
Also coming up, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will have an unsettling realization about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Plus, Sharon will pay Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) an unpleasant visit. And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will open up to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Y&R spoilers tease Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will return home and he and Kyle will immediately start arguing, as an uncomfortable Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) looks on. When Jack walks out of the room, Claire will tell Kyle if he can’t forgive his parents, his feelings of resentment will take over his life.
Kyle will admit he misses asking his dad for advice and just talking with him, as Jack eavesdrops. He’ll say he just wants a simple apology from his dad and will ask Claire if that’s too much to ask for. “No Kyle, it isn’t,” Jack will tell his son, as he walks into the room. He’ll ask Claire if he can speak to his son alone and she’ll leave.

“I miss my son and if setting things right is as simple as making an apology, I’d like to do that,” Jack will tell Kyle. “I am sorry Kyle.” But Kyle will remind Jack that Diane fired him and he took her side. This will result in another huge blowout. Diane will return home and after Jack fills her in, she’ll say maybe she made a mistake, returning to Genoa City.
Meanwhile, Nick and Sharon will bring Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) home. Victor and Nikki will arrive and Sharon will not look happy to see them. “Oh no!” she’ll suddenly exclaim. “I don’t have my purse with me, I must have left it at the hospital.” So, she’ll rush out of the cottage and Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will walk up behind her. “I know where you’re really goin’ and I one hundred per cent approve,” he’ll say.
Back inside, Faith will tell her grandparents how the car accident happened. She’ll say she hopes the whole thing was a wake up call for Lucy. Faith will go upstairs and Nikki will say Sharon seemed a little off when they arrived, nervous and fragile.
“What do you want me to say, mom?” Nick will ask. Nikki will say she saw Nick watching Sharon before she left and he’ll admit she’s going through a rough time. Victor will say they’ve been down this road before with Sharon. But Nick will lie and say there’s nothing for them to worry about.
At Daniel’s apartment, Lucy will say she’ll take any other punishment besides no driver’s license. But they’ll say no. Lucy will whine that she’ll be stuck there all the time with no freedom. “Exactly,” Heather will reply. “This is non negotiable Lucy, no driver’s license, period.”
Then they’ll tell her she’s going to have to write a letter of apology to Faith and her family and Lucy will storm off to her room. There’ll be a knock on the door and it’s Sharon. They’ll invite her in and Heather and Daniel will tell Sharon the punishment they’ve doled out to Lucy. “It’s a start,” Sharon will say. “But I’d consider that a slap on the wrist, considering what your daughter did.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sharon Says They’re Being Too Lenient
However, Heather will say it was a stupid mistake. So, she’ll ask what Sharon’s suggesting they do. Sharon will say they’re being far too lenient. Lucy’s “stupid mistake” could have had much worse repercussions. “As you and I well know, don’t we Daniel?” she’ll angrily add.
Heather will defend Daniel, telling Sharon to stop blaming him for something that happened when he was a kid. So, Sharon will tell them their daughter has practically been stalking Faith and to keep Lucy away from her. After Sharon leaves, Heather and Daniel will look at each other. “I think Sharon is becoming unhinged,” Heather will say. And Daniel will suggest they keep their distance from her.
Then Lucy will walk into the living room and apologize, saying she hates what she did. So, Daniel will suggest they stop talking about it and go out for a family dinner. At the same time, Sharon will return home and Faith will suggest the three of them go out for dinner together.
Finally, Sharon will be furious when she sees Heather, Daniel and Lucy walk into Society. They’ll walk over and say hi. Lucy will ask Faith if she can talk to her outside, alone. “Absolutely not!” Sharon will exclaim. “You stay away from her!” Both Faith and Nick will try to calm Sharon down, but she won’t be having it. “We’re leaving right now,” she’ll say, storming off with her daughter and her ex.
